Up to six Werribee players could be set to return to the field after the VFL bye weekend.
Having missed the weekend’s clash with North Ballarat due to ankle soreness, Jordan Jones is a chance to return for the round seven encounter with Richmond, while Bevan Shelley, veteran Nathan Laracy, and recruits Jake Edwards, Billy Crofts, and Isaac Miller could all be available for selection to the Tigers’ development side.
After recently making his return to the development ranks, Harrison King will also need to prove his fitness after struggling with illness during the week.
The news is less positive for Matthew Brett, who could miss up to six weeks after suffering a knock to the knee during the development side’s round five clash with Box Hill.
