Ten Werribee-listed players are set to take to the field on Sunday for a practice match against the Northern Blues at Arden Street.
While the majority of the Tigers’ team will sit the week out owing to the VFL representative match, the low-key hit-out at North Melbourne’s home base will provide some valuable additional game experience for a number of emerging players.
Charlie Bance, Harry Boyd, Dom Brew, and Brydon Hodgson are four who will be particularly keen to impress as they look to break into the senior side and make their VFL debuts later in the year, while fellow youngster Louis Pinnuck will be looking to shore up his place after two outings as 23rd man.
Dane McFarlane, Jake Sharp, Joe Maishman, and Ethan Petterwood have all played senior football this year but will be eager to make a strong statement to try to establish a more permanent presence in the side, while Josh Corbett will relish the opportunity to further his match fitness after travelling a long road back from illness.
The match kicks off at 10am at Arden Street. Entry is free.
