Nathan Laracy’s long-awaited return to football looks imminent.
The hard-nosed Werribee defender will undergo fitness testing later in the week to determine his availability for the Tigers’ development side on Sunday.
Should Laracy be given the green light to take his place in the team, he will run out for his first game since badly injuring his knee in round one last year.
Having withdrawn from the VFL State Squad with glute soreness, captain Michael Sodomaco will also need to prove fitness if he is to take his place in the senior side for Saturday’s clash with Richmond.
