Memory of that game: We played Camberwell at Camberwell and lost by about three goals.
Most memorable game: The 1988 preliminary final loss to Sunshine. It was an epic final, and we were just pipped.
Funniest recollection of your time: “Mocka” Dunstan’s address after being caught holding the ball a few times and encouraging us not to do likewise: “Do as I say, not as I do.”
Your shout: who would it be and what would you discuss?
• Craig “Bona” Bonat – goals against due to bouncing footy errors in defence!
• Ange Giunta and Michael McMaster – reminding the dashing defenders their first responsibility is to negate their forwards (i.e. two ends to the ground)
• Greg Chapman – how his long arms and courage at centre half back stopped my opponents marking on numerous occasions
