Injury Update: July 27

Nick Meredith is expected to miss several weeks after injuring his ankle in last weekend’s loss to the Box Hill Hawks.

The key defender has been cleared of any structural damage to the area but will have further scans later in the week to determine the full extent of the injury.

In more positive news, Ethan Petterwood could be set to return this weekend for his first game since injuring his knee against Sandringham in round 11.

The midfielder is one of several Tigers who will need to prove his readiness ahead of Sunday’s double-header against Port Melbourne, with Jade Cleeland (hip) and Josh Corbett (ankle) also due to undergo fitness tests later in the week.
