One of Victorian football’s fiercest rivalries returns to Avalon Airport Oval when Werribee hosts Williamstown on Sunday, April 22.
With both clubs now independent and unaligned for the first time in 19 years, old grudges will be renewed when the two sides take to the new-look ground and again do battle for the John Pyne Memorial Cup.
The game kicks off at 2pm and will be presented by match-day sponsor Ballan Holden.
President’s Lunch: last chance to buy tickets
Limited spaces are still available for the pre-game president’s lunch.
Enjoy a two-course meal and drinks at the spectacular new Chirnsides by the River function and event space while being entertained by former Williamstown captain and coach Terry Wheeler and 1993 Werribee premiership star Jack Aziz.
The function commences at noon. Tickets are available from the Werribee online shop for $60 until 5pm Tuesday, March 17.
