Werribee's season officially came to a close almost a month ago, but the work didn't stop there for talented trio Jake Riccardi, Bior Malual and Louis Pinnuck who all performed strongly in front of AFL recruiters at Saturday's NAB AFL State & Rookie Me Draft Combines held at the State Netball & Hockey Centre.
Werribee's High Performance Manager Scott Graham prepared the trio for the testing in the weeks leading up.
Eleven VFL players were put through their paces in front of a host of keen onlookers from AFL clubs.
Endurance king Bior Malual won the Agility and Yo-Yo tests, in an impressive display of his raw athleticism and running ability.
Versatile defender Louis Pinnick finished second behind Malual in the Agility Test, while promising forward Jake Riccardi impressed in the running vertical jump test, registering the equal-third best attempt (92cm).
The 2019 NAB AFL National, Pre-Season & Rookie Drafts will be held from November 27-29.
