Round 3 team: Werribee vs Williamstown

Up to five Werribee players could return to the VFL ranks for Sunday’s big home clash with traditional rival Williamstown.

Midfielders Dom Brew and Ethan Petterwood and defender Jack Williams are all in the frame for a call-up for their first VFL match of 2018, while ruckman Jack Berry and defender Nick Buykx could also return to the side after sitting out Saturday night’s clash with the Casey Demons.

Utility Jake Sharp is the only confirmed omission from the side that put up a brave fight against the Demons for Werribee’s first true home match since September 2016.

Werribee kicks off against the Seagulls on Sunday at 2pm at Avalon Airport Oval.
