North Melbourne Werribee has made seven changes as the team prepares for finals with a closing home-and-away match against Sandringham on Sunday.

Captain Renee Tierney is among the returning Kangaroos after sitting out Round 13's win over the Casey Demons.

She is joined in Sunday's team by Amanda Ling, Stella Reid, Elisabeth Jackson, Charlotte Blair, Tahlia Meier and Sarah Ingram, all of whom were also managed for the 64-point win at Casey.

The Zebras sit third on the ladder, while the Roos are guaranteed a home final after securing the minor premiership.

Margie Purcell, Tricia Cowan and Sarah Hosking are among the unlucky Roos to make way after playing their first games of the season against the Demons.

Forwards Aisling Tupper and Ava Gerada also come out of the team, along with Courtney Ugle and Nicole Hales.

Sunday's opening bounce at Trevor Barker Beach Oval is at 9.45am.
