Werribee will make its second interstate trip of the 2026 season this Saturday, travelling across the Bass Strait to take on the Tasmania Devils at North Hobart Oval.

The Round 20 clash will be the second meeting between the two sides this season after they played out a thrilling draw in Round 7. Saturday's match gets underway at 11:05am.

Werribee heads into the clash chasing a tenth consecutive victory after locking away second spot on the VFL ladder with two rounds remaining.

Last weekend's 20-point win over Footscray saw Werribee overturn a 16-point half-time deficit by kicking nine goals to two after the main break, while also reclaiming the HealthWest Cup.

The second-placed Werribee will face the sixth-placed Tasmania Devils, with another close contest expected after their Round 7 draw. The Devils enter the match in strong form after a 30-point upset victory over top-four side Sydney away from home last weekend and sit with a 9-6-1 record.

For Werribee members and supporters making the trip to Tasmania this weekend, thanks to the North Hobart Football Club, a special pre-match gathering will be held from one hour before the opening bounce in a dedicated function space.

For just $15, supporters can enjoy tea, coffee and finger food, including egg and bacon rolls, party pies and sausage rolls, in the North Hobart Football Club bar adjacent to the Werribee change rooms.

For supporters unable to make the trip to Tasmania, the match will be broadcast nationally on 7plus as part of Tasmania's inaugural VFL broadcast agreement ahead of the club's entry into the AFL in 2028.
